Pensacola Inshore Fishing | Captain Hara

Welcome aboard! I'm Captain Hara Gabrielle, owner of Redemption Fishing Company. My goal is simple: to provide an honest, enjoyable, and memorable experiences on some of the most beautiful inshore waters surrounding Pensacola.

I fish Blackwater Bay, Pensacola Bay, Escambia Bay, East Bay, and surrounding estuaries. Rather than fishing the same location every day, I plan each trip around the conditions we're given. Tides, weather, seasonal fish patterns, water clarity, and recent activity all help determine where we'll have the best opportunity for success. Sometimes that means launching from a different location to put us on the best water available.

Choosing the right trip is one of the most important parts of planning your day on the water.

If you're looking for a fun introduction to fishing, have young children, or simply want to spend a couple of hours enjoying nature, the 2-hour trip on Blackwater Bay is a wonderful way to experience these beautiful waters.

For most guests, I recommend The Captain's Choice 4-hour trip. It offers the best balance of fishing time, flexibility, and opportunity while allowing us to adjust to changing conditions and enjoy the experience without feeling rushed.

If your primary goal is catching fish, I encourage you to consider the 6-hour trip. More time on the water gives us greater flexibility to locate actively feeding fish, adapt to changing tides and weather, and make thoughtful decisions throughout the day. Fishing is never guaranteed, but additional time significantly improves our opportunities.

Every trip is built around realistic expectations, honest communication, and making the most of whatever nature gives us that day. Some days the fish cooperate immediately. Other days they make us earn every bite. That's fishing, and it's part of what makes every successful catch so rewarding.

Along the way, don't be surprised if we spend time watching dolphins, ospreys, bald eagles, rays, or other wildlife that call these waters home. For me, the experience has always been about more than catching fish. It's about slowing down, reconnecting with nature, and creating memories with the people you're sharing the day with.

As a U.S. Coast Guard–licensed 25-Ton Master Captain with a towing endorsement, CPR certification, and certified by the American Sailing Association, safety and professionalism are at the heart of every trip.
